Welcome to the Choir App. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, safeguard, and disclose your information when you use our service. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register for a choir. This information includes:
The information we collect is used solely for the purpose of administering your participation in the choir and communicating with you. This includes sending you important updates, schedule changes, and announcements via SMS text messages. Your information will not be shared with any third party without your consent.
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from us. We anticipate sending approximately 1-2 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undivered messages.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP" to +1-248-247-7870. After you send the "STOP" message, we will send you a confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, simply sign up as you did the first time. For assistance with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword "HELP" or contact us directly at the email or phone number listed in the "Contact Us" section below.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. Your information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. We use a third-party service, Twilio, to send SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio is contractually obligated to protect your information and is not permitted to use it for any other purpose.
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. Your data is stored securely and is accessible only by authorized personnel.
We retain your personal information for as long as you are an active member of a choir in the app. You can request to be marked as "inactive" by contacting us at greig.dan@gmail.com. In this case, your information will be stored in case you return to the choir in the future. You may also contact us to request that your information be permanently deleted instead of being marked as inactive.
You have the right to access and control your personal information. To review or change your personal information, visit the 'More' tab in the app and click 'edit profile'. For any other requests or questions about your data, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
